School Meals

An excellent mid-day meal is available for all children. The school supports the nutritional guidelines set out by the School Food Trust which have been adopted by the Local Authority school meals service. The cost of the meal is fixed by the Local Authority and the present charge can be obtained from the school office. School meals may be taken as frequently or infrequently as required.

Milk and Fruit

We have a positive approach to healthy eating. All of our children are taught about the benefits of a healthy diet and lifestyle. We have made a conscious decision in school to ensure that all food options are healthy.

Milk is provided free for pupils until their fifth birthday and after the age of five pupils can purchase milk.

Milk is provided by Cool Milk and payment is made directly to them via their website www.coolmilk.com. Costs are available from the office.

Fruit is free to children in KS1 (Reception to Year 2).

Children in KS2 can bring fruit into school as a healthy break time snack.
